Trusted Eye Care in the Sherwood Park Community for Over 30 Years!
For more than three decades, the team at Alberta Sports Vision Institute (ASVI) have been dedicated to delivering exceptional eye care to patients across the Sherwood Park community.
Dr. Brent Saik founded ASVI over 30 years ago and quickly became known for his expertise in sports vision. Early in his career, he served as the optometrist for the Edmonton Oilers, and has since become a trusted eye doctor for numerous amateur and professional sports teams throughout Alberta, including the Edmonton Elks, the Edmonton Oil Kings, the University of Alberta sports teams, and the Edmonton Riverhawks.
Now under the new ownership of Dr. Chopek, ASVI continues its legacy of incredible service and community support. She earned her Bachelor of Science from the University of Alberta and then completing her Doctor of Optometry degree at Western University of Health Sciences in Southern California. Following her education, she returned home to Alberta, where she has proudly served the community while building her life in Sherwood Park with her husband and their four children.

Since its inception, giving back to the community has been one of ASVI’s core values. We are involved in many local sports teams, golf tournaments and our own signature events, the World’s Longest Hockey Game and the World’s Longest Baseball Game.
